Straight to the dominant
The Neapolitan sixth going straight to V or V7, and the one leap it allows: the diminished 3rd down to the leading note.
Straight to V
When the Neapolitan goes straight to V (or V7), its flattened supertonic falls to the leading note. That is a diminished 3rd, the one awkward interval this chord is allowed: the ear accepts it because both notes are so strongly drawn to the tonic.
